This purse is a gorgeous eggplant purple with silver accents and plenty of handy compartments for storage. There are two main compartments with 3 total inside subcompartments. The front outside has 3 small compartments and the sides each have a compartment with a magnetic closure. There is an additional compartment on the back that is large enough for a large smart phone and other personal items. It comes an extra strap to attatch that is a shoulder length adjustable strap. It doesn't really have a noticeable odor and the material is pretty soft. I love it

Purchased this backpack to serve dual duty on a bus tour as my daypack but also still look nice enough to bring to a nice restaurant as my purse. It fits the bill, with enough capacity to hold my small laptop, atlas, packable windbreaker, water, wallet, glasses, toiletries, and all normal girl purse accoutrements. It is well-made with strong stitching and hardware, and the PU washed leather-look body has a really rich, soft hand, just like expensive leather purses, but it's water-resistant which leather just can't withstand. There are so many pockets, I still haven't figured out just how to use them all! The front flap pocket is roomy enough for a small textbook or reading material or even a small wrap, which is to say that it was engineered to hold something, and not just look nice. This purse is a GREAT VALUE which I recommend wholeheartedly.
